Why Deynbook exists
When a customer buys on credit, the record needs to stay clear after they leave the counter. When they pay part of the debt, you need to see what remains. Supplier payments and stock changes bring their own records to keep.
Deynbook brings these everyday tasks into a digital debt book on your phone. Its purpose is simple: help you keep track of your shop’s debts and payments, and review the records when you need them.
For Somali shopkeepers
Deynbook uses Somali labels for the work you do every day. Macaamiisha holds your customers and their balances; Shirkadaha holds the suppliers you owe. You can search for a customer and open their history to review debts and payments.
The app is designed for shop owners who want their customer, supplier and inventory records accessible on Android. You can find an overview of its tools on the features page.
From a sale to a balance
For example, if a customer takes goods worth $20 on credit and later pays $5, recording both transactions leaves a $15 balance. The history helps you see how that balance was reached.
Deynbook keeps customer debts and payments separate from the money you owe suppliers. Inventory tools let you record items and stock movements, while reports help you review records for a chosen period.
Work through connection gaps
Once signed in, you can record changes locally on your phone without an internet connection. Reconnect to synchronize your records, and check the sync status in Settings.
Signing in and accessing records from another phone require internet. Before logging out or uninstalling the app, make sure your latest changes have synchronized. The offline help guide explains what to check.
